I got to spend a nice, spring afternoon in Chapel Hill last month with this sweet family of four.

A nice trick to get a four year old to cooperate for pictures might be the promise of ice cream.

I spent a Sunday afternoon with this beautiful family of three, and found out some very helpful tips to get a 1 1/2 year old to cooperate with the camera.  Things that one will probably need: 1) some form of animal ears; 2) Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”; 3) a sing-a-long of “Annie”; 4) a grandparent.  Lots of laughter and running around happened.

Marc Broussard // Charlotte, NC08.04.14

Marc Broussard came to play the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, August 2nd.  I was super ecstatic as I had not seen him play since 2008.  I have been a fan of his for over ten years and he never seems to disappoint.  He just released his new album A Life Worth Living last week, and my vinyl copy arrived on Saturday as well.  I will let the pictures speak the rest.

I first saw Marc in March 2003, when he opened for Maroon 5, in Columbia SC.  Below is a picture of us from that night, as well as one from Saturday.  (It was ironic he was wearing the same color shirt.)

Coraline Mackenzie Sloan.  I could be a little biased considering this cute thing is my newest niece, but I dare you to scroll down and not fall in love with this little girl and this cute family.  I am excited to see this little nugget grow up.

I’m moving back to North Carolina, and I decided to have a “Moving Sale” for anyone in the Carolinas. No discriminating against South Carolina, I love you too. I’m available for photo sessions, whether you want to get a jump on family portraits for end-of-the-year cards, have a newborn, you are in love (Engaged or Not), or have an event happening and you want it recorded while you enjoy the day not behind the camera.

Furry friends are always welcome.

Prices will vary depending on location, type and length of shoot. But I can guarantee that it IS affordable.

Let’s get together and explore everywhere that the Carolinas have to offer. From the mountains to the sea…
